Hakata Dontaku Festival
A festival held on May 3 and 4 during Golden Week. The Dontaku Parade, a major Hakata event, takes place right by the hotel, so be sure to visit Hakata at this time of the year.
Hakata Gion Yamakasa
Held each year from July 1 to 15. This festival at Kushida Shrine has over 700 years of history, and large decorative objects are displayed throughout the city of Fukuoka.
